We are seeking a vibrant, Spanish-bilingual Employment Law Intake Specialist to serve as the voice of our law practice. In this role, you will be the initial, reassuring point of contact for potential clients reaching out regarding workplace disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, wage claims, and harassment. The ideal candidates possess a warm, empathetic phone presence, strong active listening skills, and acute attention to detail to gather preliminary facts accurately while providing an exceptional first impression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming, supportive voice of the firm, conducting high-volume inbound and outbound intake calls with prospective clients.
  • Conduct structured prescreening evaluations to gather key facts regarding employment claims (e.g., termination dates, employer details, wage disputes, discrimination grounds).
  • Deliver clear, fluent Spanish communication to assist non-English speaking workers through the intake questionnaire with professionalism and empathy.
  • Schedule initial consultations between qualified prospective clients and legal counsel while maintaining accurate calendar management.
  • Maintain meticulous intake logs, logging case notes and uploading documentation promptly into the firm's legal management software.
  • Perform proactive follow-ups on missed calls, web leads, and pending client questionnaires to ensure high conversion and quick case routing.

Requirements

Language Fluency: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with outstanding verbal and written communication in both languages.

Phone Demeanor: Outstanding phone presence-warm, empathetic, confident, and highly articulate when speaking with individuals under stress.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-tasking skills, and reliable follow-through.

Experience: Prior experience in legal intake, employment law, call center outreach, or high-volume customer service preferred.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating legal CRM/case management software, VOIP phone systems, and daily administrative tools.

Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a starting pay rate of $6 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm PST.
