Employer Posting Policy

This policy explains how employers post jobs on Dev Global Jobs, what we check before a job is published, and what employers can expect. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Who can post

Employers, recruitment agencies and organisations with a real company website and a company email domain. Anyone can create an employer account with a verified email address. Before the company domain is verified the account can use the dashboard, build its company profile and save job drafts; it cannot publish. Domain verification is the key to posting: a code is sent to a mailbox on the company domain, which must match the company website domain. Free mail providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, iCloud, Proton and similar) and temporary mail services can never verify a company, and the company website must be live: a dead, parked or under-construction website cannot be verified. Companies without a company mailbox can verify with a DNS record or a meta tag on their website, or our team verifies them manually with company documents; every path runs the same checks. Every verification is renewed every 6 months, and a verification whose domain no longer matches the company website ends at once.

1b. One company, many HR accounts

Any number of HR accounts can verify on the same company domain; all of them belong to one company and one company page. Jobs belong to the company, not to the person: when an HR account leaves, the jobs stay and the other verified HR manage them. An HR account loses access when its 6-month re-verification fails, when a verified colleague removes it on the Team page, or when our team removes it. Our team can ask for a new verification at any time.

2. Apply links and application emails

To protect job seekers from fraud, application links must point to the employer's own website domain (or the employer's page on a recognised applicant tracking system such as Greenhouse, Lever or Workday). Applications by email must use a mailbox on the company domain. Jobs that link elsewhere are held for manual review.

3. Review before publishing

Every employer job is checked automatically within a minute of submission: company domain, apply link, description quality, duplicate and spam patterns, and posting limits. A job of a verified company is checked automatically the moment the employer presses Publish, so it is published directly after these checks, usually within a minute. Every employer job is checked for scam signals, also in disguised spelling: fee, deposit, training or visa fee requests, Western Union, gift card, crypto or cheque payments, apply only by WhatsApp, Telegram, phone or a free mail address, an apply email on another domain than the company, passport, bank or ID details asked before an interview, a salary far above normal for the role, a company domain younger than 90 days, shortened or hidden links, and the same text posted from several accounts. If anything matches, the job is not published: the employer sees on the same screen which line is the problem and what to change, fixes it and publishes again; our team never reviews job content. A clean free listing is published at once. A clean paid listing is published the moment our team confirms the payment (Wise or PayPal for now; with a payment gateway the job goes live automatically). Only three ways to apply are allowed: an email on the verified company domain, Easy Apply on Dev Global Jobs, or a link on the verified company website or its applicant tracking system page. After publishing, a few reports from job seekers hide a job at once until our team restores or removes it. Well-known employers and staffing brands can only be verified with their own official domain. A job that did not pass the check, and every job of a company that is not verified, is not public anywhere on Dev Global Jobs. Edits to a live job are reviewed before they replace the live version. We may hold, edit or remove any job that appears misleading, discriminatory, requests fees from candidates, or breaches applicable law.

4. Trust tiers and daily limits

  • New employer: company domain not verified; dashboard, company profile and job drafts only, no publishing.
  • Verified employer: the domain of the company website is verified; clean jobs publish at once after the automatic check (paid listings after the payment is confirmed); up to 15 jobs per day, verified badge on jobs and company page.
  • Trusted employer: 3 published jobs and no valid reports; up to 50 jobs per day and bulk posting; the same automatic check on every job.
  • Accounts used for spam, fraud or repeated policy breaches are suspended and their jobs removed.

5. Free period and pricing

New employers get a free period of 4 months from sign-up with 5 regular and 2 featured listings free each month. After the free period, listings are paid: regular $29, featured $79 (priority placement for 15 days), boost $49 (top position for 15 days), or a plan code issued by our team. Payment is currently by bank transfer through Wise or PayPal with a receipt upload; the job is published as soon as payment is confirmed. Every payment gets an electronic receipt that can be checked at devglobaljobs.com/verify.

6. Visibility

Job listings are ordered by boosted jobs, then featured employer jobs, then regular employer jobs, then jobs aggregated from external sources. All employer jobs are submitted to Google for Jobs and shown to job seekers by country and skill. Employers see real page views, unique visitors, apply clicks and applications in their workspace.

7. Candidate data and retention

Easy Apply applications (CVs and details) are delivered to the employer by email and kept in the Employer Workspace for 180 days after recruitment closes, then permanently deleted. Employers are responsible for lawful handling of any candidate data they download. Candidates can withdraw applications at any time.

8. Refunds

Paid listings that we decline to publish are refunded in full. Listings removed for policy breaches are not refunded. Contact info@devglobaljobs.com within 14 days of payment for any refund request.

9. Reporting and accountability

Dev Global Jobs never asks job seekers for money; every employer job says so and carries a Report button. Reports are reviewed by our team; a job with several reports is hidden at once until it has been reviewed, and confirmed fraud leads to removal and account suspension. Every decision is logged (who, when, why), rejection reasons are emailed to the employer, and repeat offenders are blocked by domain, email and device.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can post jobs on Dev Global Jobs?

Employers, recruitment agencies and organisations with a real company website and a company email domain. Anyone can create an employer account, but a job is published only after the domain of the company website is verified (a code to a mailbox on that domain, a DNS record or meta tag on the website, or manual verification by our team); free and temporary mail domains and dead, parked or under-construction websites cannot verify a company, and until the domain is verified jobs are saved as drafts.

How long does job review take?

The check is automatic and runs the moment you press Publish. A verified company's job with no scam signal is published at once (a paid listing as soon as our team confirms the payment). Every job is checked for scam signals, also in disguised spelling: fee or payment requests, apply only by messaging apps, phone or free mail, an apply address on another domain, requests for personal data, unrealistic pay, hidden or shortened links, a very new domain and repeated text. If anything matches, the job is not published and you see on the same screen which line is the problem and what to change; fix it and press Publish again. Our team never reviews job content; after publishing, a few reports from job seekers hide a job until our team restores or removes it.

What does it cost to post a job?

New employers get a free period of 4 months with 5 regular and 2 featured listings free each month. After that, regular, featured and boost listings are paid; see Pricing for current prices.
