Job description: About this opportunity

Ericsson’s Early Career Program is an 18-month journey for recent graduates and professionals with up to five years of relevant experience. Through three rotations, including international and market exposure, you will take on meaningful challenges and build a broad understanding of how Ericsson creates value.

The Excellerate track develops future leaders motivated by performance, innovation, and commercial impact. Rotations across areas such as Sales, Commercial Management, Sourcing, Strategy, Supply, and Finance will show you how the business works together to create customer value.

From day one, you are hired into a role, trusted to contribute, and supported to grow. Learn more about the Early Career Program here. Your journey within the Early Career Program will begin in the role of Strategy Manager IT Sourcing.

What you will do

You will join the Strategy function within IT Sourcing, an organization managing more than ~15 billion SEK in annual spend with around ~120 colleagues. The team works across IT Hardware, Software, and Services/Cloud, supporting internal IT and Group functions, R&D, as well as commercial Cloud, Software & Services solutions.

We help shape the direction of IT Sourcing by working on sourcing and supplier strategies, strategic initiatives, organizational development, and transformations. You will be exposed to complex business challenges and collaborate with stakeholders across Ericsson to turn insights and ideas into action.

  • Support development of sourcing strategies across categories and key suppliers.
  • Support major negotiations, business cases, and executive decision-making.
  • Identify and lead strategic projects across IT Sourcing with involvement of broader Ericsson.
  • Drive organizational development, operating model improvements, and capability building.
  • Accelerate adoption of AI, automation, and data-driven ways of working.
  • Provide insights into market trends, supplier landscapes, risks, and opportunities.
What you will bring
  • Recent (<5 years) master’s degree in supply chain, business administration, any engineering discipline, or a related field.
  • Curious and analytical, with the ability to structure complex problems and turn insights into clear recommendations.
  • Self-driven and proactive, taking initiative and moving forward even when not everything is defined and clear.
  • Confident asking questions, constructively challenging existing thinking, and remaining open to different perspectives.
  • Motivated by working in a complex, international organization with diverse stakeholders, priorities, and perspectives.
  • A clear communicator who can influence through ideas, collaborate across teams, and bring others along.
  • Exposure to consulting, strategy, or global organizations through internships or academic projects is a plus.
