Job Description

Full description from the employer, as published by JobTech.

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact - on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we're pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About The Job

As Portfolio Manager for Food High Speed Separators, you will take ownership of the commercial performance and strategic direction of our product portfolio. With a strong business mindset, you will translate industry insights into clear priorities that ensure a competitive and profitable offering. Working cross-functionally, you will balance business opportunities with operational realities enabling effective decision-making across sales, supply, engineering, and R&D. This role requires a hands-on, commercially driven professional with interest in technology, someone who can navigate complexity and turn strategy into tangible results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Translate customer needs and industry insights into clear portfolio priorities and value-driven offerings
  • Own portfolio performance by analyzing profitability, competitiveness, and lifecycle, and initiating concrete improvement actions
  • Define and drive the portfolio strategy, roadmap, and product positioning in the market
  • Lead pricing strategy and ensure alignment with value proposition and market dynamics
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to balance future investments in portfolio with commercial opportunities, development cost, and resource constraints across Sales, Supply, Engineering, and R&D

This position is at our Flemingsberg office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 45 - 50 days per year.

What You Know

  • University degree in industrial marketing, engineering, business development or related field, combining commercial expertise with technical understanding.
  • Several years of experience in portfolio management, business development, or similar commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of how to develop and manage product portfolios in regulated, complex environments
  • Proven ability to translate market and customer insights into portfolio and business decisions that drive growth and competitiveness
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional, international environments, balancing technical, commercial, and operational priorities
  • Experience in portfolio risk management is an advantage

About You

You combine strong business acumen and strategic thinking with a clear customer focus, ensuring decisions are grounded in market and value creation. You are comfortable working with incomplete or uncertain information and validate assumption through several sources and making sound decisions when needed. With strong analytical capability, you turn insights into clear actions and data driven priorities.

You are a solid communicator with strong interest in technologies and industrial products. You are a self-driven, "get things done" professional who takes ownership and drives progress. Collaborative by nature, you build strong relationships across functions while keeping a long-term perspective. Curious and continuous learning, you thrive in complex environments where teamwork and shared success are key to delivering results
