Are you looking to kickstart your career in a fast-growing insurance company where analysis, commercial focus, and entrepreneurship take center stage? Our client is now searching for sharp Analysts who wants to combine strong mathematical capabilities with a clear business drive to contribute to the company's continued growth. In this role, you will join a performance-oriented environment offering a fast pace, a high level of individual responsibility and steep learning curves.

About the role

Our client is a fast-growing and well-established insurance company operating across the European market, offering specialized insurance and risk solutions to commercial businesses and the public sector. The company culture is defined by high ambitions, a strong team spirit, and a performance-oriented environment where exceptional results are recognized and celebrated together. Here, you are offered significant autonomy, short decision-making channels, and the opportunity to challenge established ways of working from day one. You will be based at their central Stockholm office in a dynamic environment, with the option for hybrid work following the initial onboarding period.

As an Analyst, you will become an integral part of the analytics team, a highly skilled department consisting primarily of colleagues with backgrounds in engineering and advanced mathematics. The team holds overall responsibility for the firm's profitability. You will mainly focus on pricing and risk assessment (underwriting), using large datasets to compute accurate premiums for new and existing clients.  Over time, your scope of responsibility will expand to cover entire client segments, renewals, strategic profitability analyses, and participation in development projects regarding automation and the implementation of AI tools in analytical workflows. The role involves close collaboration with immediate team members, department leadership, and international analyst peers across Europe.

You are offered:

  • A performance-oriented environment with excellent career and professional growth opportunities.
  • Clear, performance-based salary and bonus models alongside a competitive starting salary.
  • Significant personal responsibility, clear KPIs, and a transparent feedback culture with regular follow-ups.
  • A centrally located workplace in top-tier facilities, as well as hybrid work possibilities.

Work tasks

  • Analyze large datasets to calculate pricing and underwriting for new clients.
  • Conduct profitability analyses and evaluations ahead of renewals for existing client contracts.
  • Take ownership of and monitor profitability and performance trends within specific client segments.
  • Develop and enhance analytical models, calculation tools, and automations using SQL, Python, R, or Excel.
  • Participate in and drive strategic development projects, such as integrating AI tooling into the analytical process.
  • Collaborate closely with internal team members and international stakeholders across the broader organization.

We are looking for

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, written and spoken.
  • A completed (or soon-to-be-completed) academic degree with a strong mathematical or analytical focus, such as a Master of Science in Engineering (e.g., Engineering Physics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering) or a Master's degree in Mathematics or Economics.
  • Very strong logical and analytical reasoning skills, demonstrated through a solid and well-structured academic track record.
  • Strong interest in developing proficiency in programming and data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.

It is considered a plus if you have:

  • A strong interest in emerging technologies, automation, and AI applications.
  • Proficiency in Swedish - written and spoken.
