01Start Date: December 2026 The Role

Lyrebird is building the world's best health-tech company, and every person we hire shapes how fast we get there. We're looking for a Talent & People Partner who is part recruiter, part talent scout, and fully accountable for how we hire, while also being our UK People Partner point of contact. You'll own full-cycle recruitment from first outreach to signed offer, working directly with leadership to bring in the people who will form the core of Lyrebird's future. This is not a coordinator role: the quality and speed of our hiring will rest in your hands.

You thrive when you're close to the action and the stakes are real. You don't wait for a brief to land on your desk; you're already in the market, mapping talent and starting conversations before the role opens. You move with urgency, but you never trade away quality or care, because every candidate's experience says something about who we are. You bring a point of view to leadership, say the difficult thing directly, and make hiring decisions sharper as a result.

02About Us

We turn real clinical conversations into accurate notes, automatically, backed by ambient real time document creation, intelligent document management and clinical workflow automation, native patient data integrations across siloed health systems, and a patient and clinical communications layer. Thousands of clinicians across multiple disciplines use Lyrebird every day in environments where accuracy, safety, and time matter deeply. We're growing fast across Melbourne, the UK, and Asia, and there's a finite window right now to set the standard for clinical AI before anyone else does.

03What you'll do

  • Own recruitment end to end, from sourcing and headhunting through to offer, so every role closes with the right person at the pace our growth demands

  • Find and land niche, highly skilled people who aren't looking, building pipelines ahead of need so we never start from zero

  • Shape hiring priorities, budgets, and workforce planning alongside leadership, bringing market insight that changes decisions

  • Build an ATS and hiring process that moves candidates through the funnel fast, with no one waiting more than 12 hours for a response

  • Set the standard for candidate experience, so every person who meets Lyrebird, hired or not, leaves feeling respected and dealt with honestly

  • Deliver clear reporting and insight that keeps leadership aligned, accountable, and ahead of hiring risk

  • Build AI-powered systems and automations with Claude that remove manual work and make the whole function faster

  • Lead core UK people initiatives as our UK People Partner, working closely with our Head of People & Culture in Australia

04What you'll bring

  • A track record of owning full-cycle recruitment and closing roles end to end, whether in-house, agency, or both

  • Proven success headhunting hard-to-find talent, particularly people who weren't on the market until you found them

  • A deep network across tech start-ups and SaaS

  • The judgement to hold a high quality bar while moving fast, and the rigour to keep process and detail tight under pressure

  • A track record of partnering with senior leaders as a trusted advisor, not an order taker

05Nice to have

  • Experience recruiting inside a hyper-growth startup

  • Experience hiring for technical, product, or health-tech roles

  • Experience building or rebuilding an ATS and recruitment reporting from scratch

  • A network across the Australian, UK, or Asian tech markets

Every engineer, clinician, and operator you bring in will help give doctors back hours of their day and put that time back where it belongs: with patients. The people you hire will decide how quickly Lyrebird reaches every clinician who needs it, and that's work you'll be able to point to for the rest of your career.

We're building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you're from an underrepresented background in tech, we strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet every requirement.
