As a Process Engineer, Substrates in the Innovation Development Center, you will be the technical contact for prototyping activities related to Snus and Nicotine Pouch innovation projects. You will act as a domain expert by designing experimental plans, leading the prototype production lifecycle, and developing or adapting equipment to support new or complex manufacturing needs. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, EHS, Manufacturing, and technicians to ensure robust, safe, and right-first-time prototyping execution.
Beyond project delivery, you will build process knowledge by translating experimental findings into technical understanding, identifying key process drivers, and continuously improving prototyping processes and equipment performance.
You will support scale-up and industrialization by assessing process transferability across equipment, defining operating principles, and partnering with manufacturing teams on trials and production campaigns to implement new products and processes successfully.
