01Our mission for you

Take trawa beyond borders!

As an Expansion Intern, you'll play a key role in taking trawa into new markets and will experience hands-on what it means to be an operator. You'll work across go-to-market, operations and product, and see up close what it takes to bring a fast-growing energy platform into a new country. We are hiring on a rolling basis, minimum duration is 3 months.

Two markets, one mission:

• Austria: trawa is already live here, and you'll help scale the market: speeding up growth, sharpening our local positioning and turning our Austrian presence into a success story.

• The Netherlands: trawa is preparing its Dutch market entry, and you'll help lay the foundations from day one: understanding the market, positioning trawa, supporting our first sales and commercial activities, and preparing everything for launch.

We staff you on the market where your profile and our needs fit best. Either way, you'll build something that truly matters.

02What you'll do, whichever market you work on

• Supercharge local go-to-market: You research competitors, help define how trawa wins in your market and support early customer acquisition. Your work directly drives our local growth.

• Turn regulation into a competitive edge: Energy markets change constantly. You track legal and regulatory updates, work out what they mean for trawa and help us adapt faster than anyone else.

• Build local operations: You support product rollouts, from contract frameworks to processes, and help adapt what works at our Berlin HQ to the local market.

• Shape the product for new markets: You bring local customer and market insights into our product team and help make sure trawa fits the needs of businesses in your country.

• Become the market expert: You run ad-hoc analyses, build market overviews and quickly become the go-to person for everything specific to your country.

• Collaborate with leadership: You work closely with our expansion leads and senior leadership. You take ownership of your own initiatives and see them through from idea to execution.

• You are a true team player: You understand that humility and performance go hand in hand, and that what counts is the overall success of the team.

03Standout candidates who want to grow with us

• Advanced Bachelor's student, in your gap year, Master's student, or recent graduate with outstanding academic achievements.

• You have a strong track record. Analytical skills, an entrepreneurial mindset and a high degree of independence set you apart.

• You’re highly motivated, hands-on, and eager to take real responsibility.

• You have first practical experience in a dynamic startup, top-tier strategy consultancy or investment banking.

• You're curious about the energy transition and are not scared of legal texts.

04Market-specific requirements

• Austrian team: You are fluent in English and German (C1 or higher), and you're based in or willing to move to Berlin.

• Dutch team: You are fluent in English, German and Dutch are a plus, and you're based in or willing to move to Amsterdam.
