Bringing together strategists, creatives, designers, creators, producers and specialists, we are responsible for H&M’s global campaigns, editorial storytelling, creator marketing, organic social channels, e-commerce content, brand design and physical brand experiences.

Together, we shape how millions of customers discover, experience and engage with H&M every day.

01WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Styling Director, you will define and champion the styling vision for a customer group, shaping how fashion is expressed across all content streams. • Translate the Creative Director's vision into clear styling principles, frameworks and creative direction across all content streams.
  • Partner closely with the Creative Director, Customer Group Merchandisers and Head of Design to define a distinctive styling identity and fashion point of view.
  • Guide Stylist Leads, Stylists and external stylists through briefs, creative feedback, styling forums and shared ways of working.
  • Translate product strategies and design direction into compelling styling concepts that create a cohesive customer experience across channels.
  • Bring external fashion references, cultural insights and industry perspectives to continuously evolve and elevate the styling expression.
  • Ensure styling execution supports both creative ambitions and commercial objectives while remaining relevant to the target customer.
  • Act as a key creative partner across functions, helping shape how fashion trends, product stories and seasonal narratives come to life.

02Who you'll work with

You will be part of H&M Creative Studios and collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Customer Group Merchandisers, Designers, Art Directors, Producers, Photographers and Stylists. You will work across creative and product functions, driving alignment between design vision, commercial priorities and customer-facing content while building a strong and distinctive fashion expression for your customer group.

We are looking for people with…

  • A strong fashion background from a leading fashion brand, with extensive editorial styling experience.
  • Significant experience styling and shaping large-scale fashion productions across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

  • Strong understanding of how styling influences customer perception, product storytelling and brand expression.
  • Experience briefing, guiding and creatively directing both internal and external stylists.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with design, product and creative teams.
  • A broad network within the fashion industry and strong awareness of emerging trends, talent and cultural movements.

And people who are…

  • Passionate about fashion, styling and visual storytelling.
  • Trend-aware and culturally curious, with the ability to translate insights into relevant and inspiring fashion expression.
  • Strong creative leaders who can articulate a clear point of view and inspire others around a shared vision.
  • Collaborative and influential, with the ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining a strong strategic perspective on brand and customer experience.
  • Driven to continuously evolve and elevate styling excellence.
