01Reports to: CFO Your Mission

Lead our financial and accounting operations, drive strategic planning, and build a scalable finance organization. As a key strategic partner to leadership, oversee FP&A, accelerate automation and technology integrations across financial systems, modernize budgeting processes, and build advanced data analysis and insight capabilities to transform transactional operations into a strategic growth engine.

02Your Legacy

As Director of Finance, you will build a scalable, high-performing finance organization that transforms transactional accounting into a strategic growth engine. By accelerating automation across Playbook OS, NetSuite, Stripe, and Brex, achieving a repeatable 10-day monthly close, and deploying predictive scenario modeling and real-time dashboards, you will establish robust financial governance, drive departmental accountability, and ensure long-term audit and exit readiness.

03Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Oversee long-term financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic decision support for leadership.
  • Automation & System Integration: Accelerate automation and technology integrations across Stripe, NetSuite, Brex, and our proprietary internal operating platform, Playbook OS.
  • Budgeting & Variance Reporting: Modernize annual budgeting and actual vs. budget reporting processes, targeting a monthly close within 10 days.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Build advanced data capabilities to deliver actionable financial insights that empower department heads.
  • Team Leadership & Organizational Scaling: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance team capable of supporting rapid company growth.
  • Accounting & Compliance: GAAP compliance, external audit management, tax strategy, and multi-entity/subsidiary consolidation.
  • Treasury & Cash Management: Working capital optimization, free cash flow (FCF) forecasting, and cash buffer governance.
  • Exit / M&A Readiness: Data room preparation, quality of earnings (QoE) readiness, and board/investor reporting.

04Core Competencies and Qualifications

  • 8-12+ years of progressive finance experience, blending foundational accounting/controllership rigor with high-growth strategic FP&A.
  • Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; CPA, CFA, or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Systems Mastery: Proven track record administering and integrating NetSuite, high-volume payment processors (Stripe), and spend management platforms (Brex). Advanced SQL or BI dashboarding experience is a strong plus.
  • Strategic & Operational Range: Ability to zoom out for board-level scenario modeling and zoom in to troubleshoot complex multi-entity reconciliations or ERP data flows.
  • Executive Presence & Influence: A collaborative coach who translates complex financial data into clear operational narratives for non-finance leaders
