We are currently recruiting two radiographers for a smaller, well-functioning radiology department in coastal central Sweden.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who values modern equipment, close teamwork and a healthy work-life balance, with daytime working hours and no evenings, nights, weekends or public holidays.
01The department
The department is a smaller radiology unit with approximately 10 employees, providing both planned and acute diagnostic imaging in close collaboration with inpatient care and primary care.
The facilities have recently been modernised and the department works with new technology, including:
- Canon CT
- Samsung conventional X-ray
- Ultrasound
The team consists of radiographers, assistant nurses, a radiologist and a sonographer.
There is also close collaboration with a larger radiology department, providing the opportunity to occasionally gain experience in a setting with a higher acute patient flow.
02The role
The position includes standard duties as a radiographer, primarily within:
- CT
- Conventional radiography
- Planned and acute examinations
You will work closely with radiographers, radiologists, assistant nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00. There are no evening or night shifts, no weekend work, no work on public holidays and no on-call duties.
Previous experience as a radiographer is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience with CT and conventional radiography is considered particularly valuable.
03The location
The hospital is located in a smaller coastal community in central Sweden, with approximately 24,000 inhabitants in the local area.
The area combines small-town living with close access to the sea, lakes, countryside and an extensive archipelago. It is particularly well suited to those looking for a quieter lifestyle with good opportunities for outdoor activities and family life.
The area offers access to schools and childcare, as well as good transport connections to larger cities.

We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds an EU-recognised qualification as a Radiographer
- The profession must be regulated in the country of qualification
- Currently working in an active clinical role as a radiographer
- Full legal right to practise independently as a radiographer
- Is interested in working with CT and conventional radiography

05Language and relocation
Swedish language training starts in your home country through individual online lessons with a private teacher. You study several hours per week alongside your current work.
Relocation to Sweden takes place once you have reached Swedish level B2.
After moving to Sweden, you begin working at 50% in a Radiography Assistant role while continuing your Swedish studies from B2 to C1.
Work and language training are combined during this period, with work in the mornings and Swedish studies in the afternoons, Monday to Friday.
The language education is provided and financed as part of the recruitment process.
