01What you get as a member

02What FDEs do at our partner startups

• Own a deployment end to end, from scoping to go-live

• Run discovery: gather requirements and turn business needs into technical requirements

• Work directly with the customer's engineers

• Write production code, build integrations with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, ticketing, transport management, data systems) and design the solution architecture

• Explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives

• Feed learnings from the field back into product, and build reusable patterns, tools and playbooks from individual deployments

03What we look for

• Engineering: you ship production-quality code fast, work with APIs, databases and cloud platforms, and debug production issues under time pressure. Typical languages: Python, TypeScript.

• Customer judgment: you turn a vague request into a scoped problem, and you know when to say no

• Communication: you explain technical trade-offs clearly, in writing and live

• Ownership: you have a track record of driving outcomes end to end, not just contributing, and you operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

• Track record: outlier achievements, such as shipped products or top performance anywhere

04Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI agents (retrieval, evals, prompt engineering, tool use)

• A product background

05What the process looks like

1. Apply: fill in our application form

2. Screening: get invited to a screening with our senior FDE experts or our AI evaluator.

3. Fast-tracked interviews: if you're in, you get support and fast-tracked access to the interview processes at our partner startups. Each startup runs its own hiring process.

4. Not hired? You're still part of the network. You can get fast-tracked access again, or support to improve your odds.

06What you should know

• Every applicant goes through our assessments. Only the top 1% of applicants join the Tekkr FDE Network

• Contract details, such as: probation period, start date and annual leave may vary depending on the role we decide fits you best. These details will be given to you later on
