01Job Purpose

The Medic provides immediate medical support during Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) field operations and responds to trauma and medical emergencies within their training, competence and authorization, with the aim of saving life, stabilizing casualties and supporting their safe evacuation and transfer to an appropriate medical facility.

02الهدف الوظيفي

تعلن منظمة المساعدات الكنسية الدنماركية عن حاجتها لتوظيف مسعف للانضمام إلى فريق الأعمال الإنسانية المتعلقة بالألغام. سيكون المسعف مسؤولاً عن تقديم الدعم الطبي الفوري خلال العمليات الميدانية والاستجابة للحوادث والإصابات والطوارئ الطبية، بهدف إنقاذ الأرواح وتثبيت حالة المصابين وضمان إخلائهم ونقلهم بأمان إلى المرافق الطبية المناسبة.

03Functional Responsibilities

• Ensure the readiness and serviceability of assigned medical equipment in accordance with applicable medical SOPs.
• Ensure the medical readiness of the ambulance, including the availability, condition, serviceability and validity of required medical equipment, medicines and supplies.
• Remain ready and available to provide medical support during assigned Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) field operations.
• Maintain appropriate hygiene of the ambulance, medical equipment and designated medical-support areas at the work site.
• Report problems or concerns related to medical coverage, equipment or supplies to the Senior Medic and, where operationally relevant, the Team Leader.
• Use assigned communication equipment correctly and in accordance with applicable procedures in support of medical and emergency communications.
• In the event of an incident or accident requiring medical support, provide immediate medical care within the Medic’s training, competence and authorization, stabilize the casualty, prepare the casualty for evacuation, and provide continuing medical support during CASEVAC/MEDEVAC and transfer to an appropriate medical facility, as required.
• Accurately document medical interventions and relevant timings and maintain the confidentiality of patient information and medical records in accordance with applicable DCA medical procedures.
• Maintain current information and contact details for relevant medical facilities supporting assigned Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) field operations.
• Provide relevant medical information and briefings at task sites as required, within the Medic’s training, competence and authorization.
• Report to and take medical technical direction from the Senior Medic and, during assigned Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) field operations, take operational direction from the relevant Team Leader.
• Maintain medical readiness and competence through participation in required refresher, continuation and other applicable medical training and exercises.
• Maintain familiarity and competence in the appropriate use of assigned medical equipment within the Medic’s training, competence and authorization.
• Participate in relevant post-incident reviews and provide medical input on the response and lessons identified, as required.

ضمان جاهزية وصلاحية المعدات الطبية المخصصة وفق الإجراءات الطبية المعتمدة

التأكد من الجاهزية الطبية لسيارة الإسعاف، بما يشمل توفر المعدات الطبية والأدوية والمستلزمات وصلاحيتها

تقديم الدعم الطبي خلال العمليات الميدانية للأعمال الإنسانية المتعلقة بالألغام

المحافظة على نظافة سيارة الإسعاف والمعدات الطبية ومناطق الدعم الطبي في مواقع العمل

الإبلاغ عن أي مشكلات أو مخاوف تتعلق بالتغطية الطبية أو المعدات أو المستلزمات إلى كبير المسعفين وقائد الفريق عند الحاجة

استخدام معدات الاتصال المخصصة وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة لدعم الاتصالات الطبية واتصالات الطوارئ

تقديم الإسعافات والرعاية الطبية الفورية للحالات الطارئة والإصابات، وتجهيز المصابين للإخلاء ومرافقتهم أثناء عمليات الإخلاء الطبي عند الحاجة

توثيق التدخلات الطبية والمحافظة على سرية معلومات وسجلات المرضى

تحديث معلومات وبيانات الاتصال الخاصة بالمرافق الطبية الداعمة للعمليات الميدانية

تقديم الإحاطات والمعلومات الطبية المطلوبة في مواقع العمل

الالتزام بالتوجيهات الفنية الصادرة عن كبير المسعفين والتعليمات التشغيلية الصادرة عن قائد الفريق

المشاركة في التدريبات الطبية والدورات التنشيطية للحفاظ على الجاهزية والكفاءة المهنية

المشاركة في مراجعات ما بعد الحوادث وتقديم المساهمات الطبية والدروس المستفادة

05Your Profile

As a person we expect that you resonate with our purpose, and we imagine you have the following as minimum required knowledge &

06experience

• Technical Diploma in Nursing.
• Accident & Emergency/Casualty-Care training is an added asset.
• At least 2 years of experience in pre-hospital or emergency care.
• Strong practical clinical skills in Basic to Advanced Life Support (BLS-ALS), with a strong emphasis on trauma care.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, colleagues and relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively and make sound decisions under pressure in emergency situations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues as required.
• Experience in humanitarian, disaster or conflict settings is highly desirable.

دبلوم تقني في التمريض

يُعتبر التدريب في الإسعاف والطوارئ أو رعاية المصابين ميزة إضافية

خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في الرعاية الطارئة أو الرعاية ما قبل المستشفى

مهارات سريرية قوية في الإنعاش الأساسي والمتقدم للحياة (BLS/ALS)، مع تركيز على رعاية الإصابات والرضوض

مهارات تواصل ممتازة وقدرة على التعامل بفعالية مع المرضى والزملاء وأصحاب المصلحة

القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط واتخاذ قرارات سليمة في حالات الطوارئ

القدرة على العمل ضمن فريق وتقديم الدعم للزملاء
