Veritaz is a leading IT staffing solutions provider in Sweden, committed to advancing individual careers and aiding employers in ensuring the perfect talent fit. With a proven track record of successful partnerships with top companies, we have rapidly grown our presence in the USA, Europe, and Sweden as a dependable and trusted resource within the IT industry.

01Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Change Manager for a consulting assignment within the financial services sector. The client is executing a major transformation programme in asset finance, introducing a new core system and front-end solution to digitalise and automate workflows that currently include manual activities.

Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will support business employees and managers through the transition to new systems, processes and ways of working. You will build understanding, engagement and organisational readiness, ensuring that the business receives appropriate support before, during and after implementation.

02Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead and coordinate change-management activities for the implementation of a new core system and front-end solution.
  • Translate overarching programme objectives into practical, actionable change activities for affected business functions.
  • Assess change impacts across different employee groups, roles and business areas.
  • Develop and coordinate communication, stakeholder engagement, anchoring and training initiatives in collaboration with the business and system supplier.
  • Support employees and managers in moving from manual work practices to digitalised and automated processes.
  • Identify questions, concerns, resistance and adoption barriers, and convert these insights into concrete mitigating actions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, programme leadership and external suppliers throughout the transformation.
  • Provide practical and strategic support to promote adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.

03Technical Stack & Requirements

  • Change-management experience within large-scale system implementations and business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience of core-system implementation or comparable business-critical systems in financial services.
  • Knowledge of structured change-management methodologies, preferably Prosci and ADKAR, or equivalent approaches.
  • Experience with stakeholder management, change-impact assessment, communication planning and training planning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across business teams, programme management and external technology suppliers.

04Qualifications & Experience

You have substantial experience as a Change Manager in major system implementations and organisational change programmes. Relevant experience from banking, financial services or finance companies is required, along with a strong understanding of business processes in this environment. You should be experienced in supporting employees and managers through transitions from manual to digital and automated ways of working.

Experience in asset finance is highly desirable, including leasing, instalment finance, vehicle finance or machinery finance. Experience of changes affecting customer onboarding, sales, credit or administration is advantageous. Formal education or certification in change management, such as Prosci/ADKAR or an equivalent methodology, is also beneficial.

The successful consultant is confident, attentive and skilled at building trust. You understand how people respond to change, address concerns and resistance respectfully, and tailor support to the needs of individuals and groups. You combine structured strategic planning with hands-on delivery close to the business.
