Project Manager, dnata Singapore

At dnata Singapore, our Ground Handling operations play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient and reliable airport services. The Business Planning & Performance team supports operational excellence by driving business improvement initiatives, strengthening project delivery and optimising performance across the organisation.

As Project Manager, you will drive operational improvement, project delivery and performance optimisation across dnata Singapore's Ground Handling operations. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will lead initiatives to address operational challenges, streamline processes and deliver measurable operational and financial improvements through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement methodologies.

01In this role, you will

• Partner with operational leaders to identify and deliver business process improvement priorities, leading operational turnaround initiatives that enhance productivity, service quality, safety, customer experience and cost efficiency.

• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, TQM and continuous improvement methodologies to analyse operational processes, identify inefficiencies and root causes, and translate data into actionable improvement plans.

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects supporting operational transformation, systems implementation, workforce optimisation and process redesign.

• Develop and manage project plans from initiation through implementation, overseeing project scope, timelines, resources and deliverables.

• Establish project governance structures, proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities to ensure effective project execution.

• Develop business cases, manage project budgets and forecasts, and monitor the delivery of targeted operational and financial benefits.

• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, HR, Safety and other stakeholders to deliver business improvement initiatives, communicating project progress, impacts and expectations across stakeholder groups.

• Drive change management initiatives, supporting teams through organisational changes and new ways of working, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and innovation.

• Support capability development through coaching, knowledge sharing and training related to project management, process improvement and change management.

• Monitor industry trends, operational risks and best practices to support sustainable business performance and continuous improvement.

• Promote a customer-focused, safety-first and professional working environment, demonstrating dnata's values of safety and security, performance, customer focus, imagination, respect and service excellence, while supporting dnata4good and community development initiatives.

02To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Aviation Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in business planning, performance management, project management, operational excellence, process improvement, business transformation, or a related field.

• Proven experience leading operational improvement, change management, or transformation initiatives with measurable business impact.

• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and driving operational and financial improvements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation capabilities.

• Proficiency in project management software, Power BI, Excel, and performance reporting tools.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to influence change, challenge conventional practices, and drive operational improvements.

• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced operational environment.

03You'll have an edge if you have

• Professional certifications in Project Management, Process Improvement, Change Management or Operational Excellence, such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/CSM, Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), TQM or equivalent.

• Experience in aviation, airport operations, ground handling, logistics, or transportation industries.
