FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Your resume must demonstrate at least 3 years of general experience, one of which is equivalent to the next lower pay band (NO-01) or GS equivalent (GS-1/4) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Planning and organizing work; and 3) Communicating effectively orally and in writing.

You will advise leadership and managers on funding requirements and budget instructions.,You will monitor obligation and expenditure rates to ensure timely, compliant fund usage.,You will regularly brief Associate Directors of Research (ADORs) and division officers on financial health.,You will interpret financial directives and policies from ONR, NAVCOMPT, and OSD (Comptroller).,You will ensure operations adhere to NWCF concepts, Capital Purchases Program (CPP) guidelines, and rate stabilization policies.,You will assess the financial and operational impact of proposed manpower and funding changes.,You will serve as the central coordination point for all budgetary and fiscal data released by NRL.,You will prepare recurring and ad-hoc quantitative reports highlighting unusual financial trends.,You will streamline and automate financial management procedures and reporting systems.
