Job description: About this opportunity

Ericsson’s Early Career Program is an 18-month journey for you who are recently graduated or have up to five years of relevant experience. Through three rotations, including one international and market exposure, you will tackle challenges that matter, work alongside people who expect you to contribute, question, and move things forward.

The Innovate track is designed for you who are driven by building what’s next. You’ll rotate across Research, Product Development, Data, and AI contributing to solutions that don’t just support the business but move it forward.

This isn’t a programme where you sit on the sidelines. From day one, you’re hired into a role, trusted to contribute, supported to grow, and expected to make an impact. Find out more about the Early Career program here. Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as Strategic Product Manager.

What you will do

Join Product Line Transport and build your experience in Strategic Product Management, working across Ericsson's Microwave, Routers & Fronthaul, and Transport Automation portfolios. You will work closely with the Product Line Transport Leadership Team and collaborate across Product Management, Strategy & Operations, Sales and Customer Units.

As part of your first rotation, you will contribute to one of our key transformation areas: exploring how AI, automation and data-driven ways of working can improve how we operate and make decisions. At the same time, you will gain exposure to portfolio strategy, customers, market dynamics and business performance, building an understanding of what it takes to manage and grow a technology portfolio.

  • Explore key workflows across Product Line Transport and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Build scalable, data-driven workflows, and design end-to-end digital process that works across teams and domains.
  • Explore and pilot AI, automation and data-driven ways of working to improve efficiency, strengthen decision-making and make product, business and customer insights easier to use.
  • Contribute to portfolio strategy and business performance, turning data and complex information into clear insights that support strategic and commercial decisions.
  • Bring together customer and market insights from across Customer Units and Market Areas, helping translate customer needs and market developments into input for portfolio evolution.
You will bring
  • A recent Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Technology Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commercial and strategic mindset
  • The ability to understand business and customer needs and connect them to technology and product opportunities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to make complex topics easy to understand.
  • Curiosity about AI, digitalization and new technologies, and an interest in how they can create better business outcomes.
  • A constructive challenger mindset, willing to question assumptions and bring fresh perspectives while staying open to different viewpoints.
  • Experience gained through internships, thesis work, academic projects or early professional roles in areas such as strategy, business development, product management, customer-facing roles, or digital transformation is an advantage.
