Do you want to turn demand insights into the right inventory decisions? As Inventory Planner at our division mobile crushing & screening, you ensure material availability for production and aftermarket needs while balancing service, cost, and working capital.

01About the job

You optimize inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. By analyzing demand patterns, inventory performance, and supply risks, you help maintain reliable material availability and improve supply chain efficiency. You report to the Inventory Manager.

Job responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory performance and identify risks related to shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence.
  • Develop replenishment plans and inventory strategies that balance customer requirements with inventory investment.
  • Collaborate with production planning, procurement and suppliers to secure continuity of supply.
  • Analyze performance metrics and maintain inventory dashboards and planning reports.
  • Support S&OP, demand planning, and activities that address capacity constraints.
  • Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, planning processes, system use, and obsolete and slow-moving inventory management.

02Location and flexibility

The primary location is Malmö, with flexibility for you to be based elsewhere in Sweden. Travel is part of the job, including visits to the factory in Northern Ireland.

03Your profile

You bring solid experience from inventory planning, materials planning, supply chain, or production planning in a manufacturing, engineering, distribution, or aftermarket environment. With a strong analytical approach, you make sound decisions based on data, business insight, and changing supply needs.

Your background includes

  • Experience developing and implementing inventory control strategies that improve accuracy, availability, and service performance.
  • Knowledge of ERP or MRP planning systems and inventory management processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience collaborating across functions to resolve supply challenges and achieve shared outcomes.
  • A track record in forecasting, replenishment planning, supplier collaboration and obsolete and slow-moving inventory management.
  • Fluency in English, verbally and in writing.

Knowledge of inventory optimization and forecasting techniques, experience with Power BI or other reporting tools, and a relevant bachelor’s degree are advantageous.

Structured and detail-oriented, you take initiative and stay focused when priorities shift. You communicate inventory risks clearly, build productive relationships across teams, and use a practical, collaborative approach to move decisions forward.
