We're an applied AI company running frontline workforce operations for staffing firms and large employers of hourly and shift workers. Our software does the work that sits today with recruiters, compliance teams and outsourced back offices, from a worker's first application into the job itself. We support 150,000 workers a month across more than 80 countries, for customers including Job&Talent, Deel, Wonolo, BGSF, ProLink and Multiplier. Our Series A was led by Earlybird Venture Capital alongside Gradient Ventures and Y Combinator, and we're growing our team in London.

02The role

Help UK and European recruitment agencies get workers into shifts faster and keep them working as rules change, with AI that does the work their back-office and compliance teams carry today. You'll join our UK sales team early and help build Firstwork's European business from the ground floor.

You'll sell to Managing Directors, CEOs, Operations Directors and Heads of Compliance, Onboarding or Vetting at UK agencies across industrial, driving and logistics, healthcare and care, and hospitality, then into major European markets. They care about time from offer to first shift, right-to-work and vetting compliance (Home Office checks, DBS for care), the cost of compliance teams, and audits and fines.

03What you'll do

• Source and close new agency accounts, with a meaningful share of pipeline you build yourself through events, the REC and APSCo network, referrals and outbound

• Run discovery that maps how an agency really onboards and vets workers, then play it back more clearly than the buyer described it

• Build the business case on cost and compliance risk, and turn pilots into committed, multi-year contracts

• Sell alongside our AI Deployment Specialists and forward-deployed engineers, who take customers live in weeks

• Expand accounts across branches and into European markets

04What we're looking for

• 6+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years closing new business with strong recent target performance

• You've sold software or services to UK recruitment agencies, to MDs, Operations Directors or Heads of Compliance

• You've closed multi-year or committed-volume contracts

• At least 30% of your closed business was self-sourced

• You're willing and keen to travel across the UK and Europe

05Strong signals

• You know UK right-to-work, digital identity checks (IDSPs) and vetting, or DBS for care

• You've sold across major European markets, or speak German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian or Polish

• You've started or have an interest in selling AI agents or automation to UK agencies or frontline employers, priced per check or on usage

• A network in the REC or APSCo

• You know the UK agency stack: Bullhorn, Access Recruitment, Firefish, Mercury, Eploy, Sirenum
