Job description

About the role

Full text from the employer, as published on Arbeitnow, arranged into sections. Nothing added or removed.

01Your mission

This role builds and runs the engine that moves Lyceum’s money. You’ll work directly with the Head of Finance on invoicing, payables, payments and the monthly close, and turn recurring finance work into automated workflows built with AI, with a human check wherever money leaves the company. You won’t just process transactions, you’ll design how they get processed. Ideal for someone with solid accounting fundamentals who hates doing the same thing twice.

02What you'll do

Build and run automated invoicing for our customer deployments, and own accounts payable and procurement

  • Verify and release outgoing payments, from suppliers to hardware, debt service and SPV distributions, each with a clear approval step

  • Turn recurring finance work into code-driven workflows, built with AI and reviewed before they go live

  • Keep the books clean: bank and intercompany reconciliations, energy and colocation invoices, the fixed asset register and VAT reclaims

  • Support the month-end close and the roll-out of our ERP and Swiss bookkeeping set-up, working with our accountants and tax advisors

03What We’re Looking For

  • 1-3 years in startup finance operations, accounting, Big4 audit or fintech

  • Solid accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience with invoicing, accounts payable or month-end

  • You’ve used AI to build something that automated real work, and you’re comfortable working with code through AI

  • Strong attention to detail: you don’t release a payment you haven’t checked

  • A strong academic background and a very high sense of ownership

  • Fluent in English; German is a strong plus

04Why us?

  • Outstanding team: Work with some of the best engineers in the world, coming from hedge funds, big tech, AI startups and top universities

  • Once in a lifetime opportunity: Early-stage company in the fastest-growing market in the world

  • Ownership: Shape how European AI companies access GPU compute

  • European mission: Build sovereign, GDPR-compliant AI infrastructure for the next generation of deep-tech
