Job description

About the role

Full text from the employer, as published on Arbeitnow, arranged into sections. Nothing added or removed.

01About inca 🚀

inca is a Berlin-based, AI-native InsurTech. We automate insurance claims handling end to end for insurers in Germany and DACH, using agentic AI.

We're venture-backed, small and fast. Live pilots with established insurers, real claims, real impact.

02The role 🎯

You work directly with the founders' office and keep the company running behind the scenes. Two areas: People & Office, and Marketing.

No coffee runs, no slide formatting for the sake of it. You own real topics from day one, build the processes yourself and automate whatever repeats. You see how a startup is built from the inside, close to the founders.

03People & Office 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

  • Run recruiting processes end to end: job posts, sourcing, candidate communication, interview scheduling

  • Own onboarding and offboarding so new joiners are productive from week one

  • Keep HR admin clean: contracts, documents, absences, tools like Personio

  • Help build team rituals and the culture that comes with growing fast

  • Keep our Berlin office running 🏢: equipment, suppliers, team events and travel

04Marketing 📣

  • Create LinkedIn content for inca and the founders, from idea to published post

  • Drive employer branding so the best people want to work here

  • Support events, trade fairs and outreach to media and creators

  • Track what works and double down on it

05Across both 🤖

  • Turn repetitive work into automations and AI workflows (Claude, n8n, Notion)

  • Take on ad-hoc projects for the founders: research, analyses, decision prep

06Who you are 🙋

  • Enrolled student in business, economics, psychology or a related field

  • Organised and reliable. You close loops without being reminded

  • You write well and have a feel for what works on LinkedIn

  • AI-first: you use Claude and similar tools daily and ideally have built your first automation

  • Comfortable switching between HR, content and operations in one day

  • Fluent German (C1+) and English

  • Available at least 16-20 hours per week, on-site in Berlin

07What we offer 🎁

  • Real responsibility from day one, with direct access to the founders

  • A steep learning curve across People, Marketing and Operations

  • A front-row seat to building an AI startup in a real industry

  • Flexible hours that fit around your studies

  • Office in Berlin and a team that works hard and takes the job, not itself, seriously

08The details 📍

  • Working student, 16-20 hours per week

  • On-site in our Berlin office

  • Start: as soon as possible

Send us your CV and a few lines on why this role. Bonus: show us one thing you've automated or built yourself.
