01About Isembard
Isembard is building a network of high-performance factories for critical industries. We combine advanced machine tools, robotics and our own software, MasonOS, to make precision components for aerospace, defence, energy and frontier technology companies, with factories across the UK, US, Germany and France. Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration.
02The role
Isembard is hiring quickly across the UK and Europe, and every new starter needs a working laptop, the right accounts and the right access on their first day.
The IT Operations Specialist owns IT hardware and day-to-day technical support for our people across the UK and Europe. You will work with our IT and cyber-security leads, and make sure IT works as well on a factory floor as it does in an office.
03What you'll do
Provide hands-on IT support to colleagues across the UK and Europe during EMEA working hours.
Own IT hardware: buying, setting up, tracking and retiring laptops, phones, peripherals and meeting-room AV.
Run joiner, mover and leaver processes so devices, accounts and access are ready before day one and removed promptly.
Enrol and manage devices to company standards, working with our cyber-security lead.
Manage access and permissions across our core tools.
04What we're looking for
Experience in IT support or IT operations, ideally in a growing company.
Hands-on experience with end-user devices, identity and access management, and device management.
Organisation and follow-through: nothing falls between tickets.
Clear communication with non-technical colleagues.
Comfort working on site in a factory environment.
05Nice to have
Meeting-room AV setup.
Supporting several sites or countries.
IT in a manufacturing environment.
06Why Isembard
Build IT operations at an early stage and see the effect straight away.
Work across our sites in the UK and Europe.
Location: On-site at our Southwark factory in London, with occasional travel to other sites.
