Job description

About the role

Full text from the employer, as published on Arbeitnow, arranged into sections. Nothing added or removed.

TLDR: We’re looking for top 1%, high agency, AI-forward graduates to join the first graduate cohort at Resonance in Berlin as AI Transformation Leads. We have recently raised one of the largest ever European seed rounds, with investment from Anthropic and Hg Capital, to deploy AI into the economy and rebuild businesses for the AI era. You’ll work at the frontier and solve real problems in an environment that champions ownership, autonomy and innovation at pace.

01Who we are

Resonance is an applied AI company. We have recently raised one of the largest ever European seed rounds, with investment from Anthropic and Hg Capital. Our mission is to close the AI diffusion gap and rebuild businesses for the AI era. We're looking to hire Europe’s elite AI talent, and we're building our Berlin hub to serve clients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

02Why now

We believe the economic diffusion of AI is the major challenge of the next decade. Foundation models are advancing far faster than organisations can absorb them; the bottleneck is embedding AI deeply into the core processes of a company to drive an inflection in pace and create organisational advantage. Europe is falling behind on AI, and we exist to help its businesses build real, defensible advantage from it rather than simply adopting it.

03The role

As a Graduate AI Transformation Lead in Berlin, you’ll work on client teams across DACH from your first month, alongside experienced AI Transformation Leads and AI engineers, with real responsibility from day one. You’ll analyse how a business works, where time and money go, and where AI fundamentally changes the economics. You’ll build the models, business cases and story a leadership team will act on, and prototype new workflows yourself with Claude Code or similar. You’ll work side by side with engineers to define what gets built, test it with the people who will use it, and help the client’s teams adopt it. As one of our first graduate cohort, you’ll also help shape our graduate programme and how Resonance trains and grows.

Your first year: Structured training in AI, consulting and the industries we work in, with coaching from Senior AI Transformation Leads and the founding team. You’ll be on a client team from your first month, in a small team where you know everyone by name and work closely with colleagues in London. Nobody expects you to know it all when you start: asking for help early is part of the job. You’ll start as a Junior Transformation Lead and typically move up a level within 18-24 months.

What we’re looking for: You have extreme agency, operate with urgency, and have consistently been among the very top performers of your peers. You’re finishing an undergraduate or master’s degree in a technical subject, such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or another natural science, or a quantitative subject such as economics, or you graduated in one in the last two years, with top results from a top university. You structure problems clearly and are comfortable with numbers. You use AI every day and have built something with it, whether a project, a tool or an automation, and you’re curious about how businesses actually work. You can show you make things happen through internships, a society you led, a company you started or something you built. An internship in consulting, banking, private equity or a startup is a plus, and so is German for client work in DACH. If you don’t tick every box, apply anyway.

What we offer: Competitive total compensation plus equity. Real client work from your first month, learning from people who have shipped 30+ AI products and embedded AI into 50+ businesses. Every engagement ends with AI running in production and results you can measure. A team built to be one of the most talent-dense in Europe, and a chance to help close Europe’s AI gap, moving European businesses to the right side of the productivity chasm.

Logistics: Berlin, 3+ days a week in the office or at client sites, mostly in DACH and Europe. English is our working language; German is a plus. We can sponsor visas for eligible candidates. Start date Summer 2027 (dates to be confirmed). We also offer Summer 2027 internships for students in the penultimate year of their degree.

04Apply

Send your CV with your grades and a short note on something you've analysed or built with AI.

We hire people from every background and judge them on what they've built. If you don't tick every box, apply anyway.

Resonance is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. If you need adjustments at any stage, tell us and we'll make them.
