About the Role
You love making things work. You're not in love with a specific solution or technology, but rather delivering value to users.
At Tandem, Software Engineers are the ones who turn ideas into products that make a real difference for clinicians and patients. You’ll take on whatever stands in the way of our product’s real-world impact, from designing and building new functionality to debugging complex systems, improving integrations, and making sure everything runs smoothly. The learnings and abstractions you build along the way will set the foundation for the next generation of the product offering.
You’ll see firsthand how the tech you build actually changes how healthcare works, and you’ll become one of the people who truly understand both the technical and operational sides of what we do.
This role is perfect for someone who’s obsessed with solving problems, who codes because they love it, and who cares more about impact than which part of the stack they work in. It’s a role for builders, people who want to learn fast, ship fast, and see their work make a difference immediately.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.
01What You Will Do
- Design, build, deploy, and improve software that delivers real value to our users.
- Debug and solve complex, real-world problems across infrastructure, APIs, data flows, RPA, and configuration.
- Write clean, pragmatic code to build and extend our systems.
- Collaborate with clinicians, partners, and our internal teams to understand problems, remove blockers, and deliver effective solutions.
- Shape the next generation of our product through thoughtful engineering and rapid iteration.
- Continuously identify, automate, and improve painful or inefficient processes so we can scale smarter.
02What You Bring
- Deep love for programming and problem-solving.
- Curiosity that borders on obsession - you like understanding why things work (or don’t).
- A bias toward action - you’d rather get things done than talk about them.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and high velocity.
- A mindset that leans toward ownership, creativity, and energy.
03Key nice-to-haves
- Experience with authentication and authorization
- RPA experience
- Any other language skills than a fluency in English is a plus, especially German.
- Solid experience coding in Python, TypeScript, or C#.
04Benefits
- Competitive salary and company stock options.
- 30 days of paid holiday each year.
- 5,000 SEK wellness allowance, plus 6,000 SEK each year for other health-related initiatives.
- Parental leave top-up for new parents.
- Private medical insurance.
- Mental health support through Mindler.
- Pension programme.
- Regular social and team activities, including off-sites and seasonal events.
We review our benefits regularly and may change them from time to time.
