01About Doit

We are focused on reinventing how people spend, save, invest, exchange, travel, and more. Our objective is to build tools that will help people get more from their money and become an expert at ease. We believe AI will help make finance smart, accessible and safe.

We are looking for the most talented and driven people we can find. We are looking for people who work for their passion, not counting hours. Who love building great next-generation products, not status quo. Who care about redefining how everyone around us can get the best financial applications, not for an exclusive few. We have teams working around the world, with over 20 nationalities and growing from our offices and remotely. Join us and build a better future for our society.

In 2019, we built the first mobile-first insurance platform, enabling insurance to be accessible online by millions in the region. Today, it’s the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia.

02The Role

Doit is building its investment business from Vilnius. As Head of Compliance and AML at Doit Lithuania, you will build and run our compliance and anti-money-laundering function from day one.

You will act as our Compliance Officer and AML Officer, and report directly to the management board. You will be independent of the business lines you monitor. You will run compliance and AML for a digital investment platform serving clients in Lithuania and across the European Economic Area.

03What You’ll Own

  • Write and own the compliance and AML/CTF policies and procedures.

  • Build the business-wide AML risk assessment, customer risk scoring and risk appetite.

  • Design remote onboarding controls with our KYC partners, including enhanced due diligence for PEPs and high-risk clients.

  • Design and tune transaction monitoring scenarios for brokerage activity.

  • Run sanctions screening at onboarding, on an ongoing basis and on payments.

  • File suspicious activity reports with the FNTT and suspicious order reports under MAR.

  • Run the compliance monitoring programme and report to the board.

  • Approve marketing communications and oversee product governance, complaints and conflicts of interest.

  • Manage the regulatory relationship with the Bank of Lithuania on compliance and AML matters.

  • Prepare the firm for the EU AML Regulation, which applies from July 2027.

  • Build the compliance and AML team as the business grows.

04What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in AML/CTF at a regulated EU financial institution. Ideally at an investment firm, neobroker, neobank or e-money institution.

  • Experience with digital onboarding and remote identity verification at scale.

  • Hands-on experience building risk assessments, monitoring scenarios and EDD processes.

  • Experience filing suspicious activity reports and handling regulatory inspections.

  • Knowledge of MiFID II conduct and investment-services compliance, or the ability to learn it fast.

  • Experience selecting and overseeing KYC, screening and monitoring tools.

  • Strong judgment and the confidence to challenge senior colleagues.

  • Clear, concise writing for policies, board reports and regulators.

  • A clean record and good reputation, suitable for regulatory approval as a key function holder.

  • Based in Lithuania, or open to relocating to Lithuania.

05Nice to Have

  • Lithuanian language ability.

  • An existing working relationship with the Bank of Lithuania or the FNTT.

  • Knowledge of Lithuanian AML law and Bank of Lithuania instructions.

  • Experience with clients across several EEA countries.

  • CAMS (ACAMS) or ICA certification.

06This Role Is Not For

  • People who only want to attend meetings.

  • Candidates who cannot follow up aggressively and professionally.

  • People who copy policies from templates without fitting them to the business.

  • People who say no without offering a compliant way forward.

  • People who produce long updates without clear decisions or next actions.

07Location

This role is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Vilnius office at least 3 days per week.

You must be a European citizen or already hold a valid right to work in Lithuania. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

08Language

English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.

09Interview Process

Our process is designed to move fast:

  1. Online assessment or practical task

  2. Role-specific interview

  3. CEO / final round

For strong candidates, we aim to complete the process and make an offer within 1 week from the start of the interview process.

Candidates who complete assessments quickly will be prioritised.
