01About Doit

We are focused on reinventing how people spend, save, invest, exchange, travel, and more. Our objective is to build tools that will help people get more from their money and become an expert at ease. We believe AI will help make finance smart, accessible and safe.

We are looking for the most talented and driven people we can find. We are looking for people who work for their passion, not counting hours. Who love building great next-generation products, not status quo. Who care about redefining how everyone around us can get the best financial applications, not for an exclusive few. We have teams working around the world, with over 20 nationalities and growing from our offices and remotely. Join us and build a better future for our society.

In 2019, we built the first mobile-first insurance platform, enabling insurance to be accessible online by millions in the region. Today, it’s the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia.

02The Role

Doit is building its investment business from Vilnius. As Strategy & Operations Lead of Doit Lithuania, you will build and run the business in Lithuania and grow it across the European Economic Area.

You will be the first senior hire in Lithuania. You will own the regulatory relationship, the build of the team, the partner network and the launch. You will sit on the management board and lead the business day to day.

We’re looking for a generalist who learns quickly, thinks deeply, and enjoys solving difficult problems in a fast-moving, regulated environment.

03What You’ll Own

  • Own the relationship with the Bank of Lithuania and other regulators.

  • Build the Vilnius team, including compliance, operations and control functions.

  • Select and negotiate with execution, custody, fund and banking partners.

  • Own the business plan, financial projections, capital plan and budget.

  • Launch the investment platform in Lithuania and roll it out across the EEA.

  • Set up governance, policies and controls that meet EU and Lithuanian requirements.

  • Work with group leadership on product, engineering and growth.

  • Report to the board and take ownership of business and regulatory outcomes.

04What We’re Looking For

  • Generalist background in consulting, investment banking, start-ups, private equity or venture capital.

  • Experience building or scaling a business, ideally in financial services or fintech.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and business judgment.

  • Ability to learn regulation quickly and work credibly with regulators.

  • Strong ownership and execution skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with boards, regulators, partners and teams.

  • Comfortable working across product, operations, finance and compliance.

  • A clean record and good reputation, suitable for regulatory approval as a senior manager.

  • Based in Lithuania, or open to relocating to Lithuania.

  • Curious, resourceful, and driven to build.

05Nice to Have

  • Lithuanian language ability.

  • An existing working relationship with the Bank of Lithuania.

  • Experience with MiFID II, brokerage, wealth management or fund distribution.

  • Experience building or running a regulated financial business in the EU.

06This Role Is Not For

  • People who only want to attend meetings.

  • Candidates who cannot follow up aggressively and professionally.

  • Those who need fixed scope and slow timelines.

  • People who avoid messy cross-functional problems.

  • People who produce long updates without clear decisions or next actions.

  • People who see regulation as someone else’s problem.

07Location

This role is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Vilnius office at least 3 days per week.

You must be a European citizen or already hold a valid right to work in Lithuania. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

08Language

English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.

09Interview Process

Our process is designed to move fast:

  1. Online assessment or practical task

  2. Role-specific interview

  3. CEO / final round

For strong candidates, we aim to complete the process and make an offer within 1 week from the start of the interview process.

Candidates who complete assessments quickly will be prioritised.
