Cellnex is looking for an experienced and commercially minded leader to take overall responsibility for Deployment, Customer Network Engineering and project delivery across the Nordic organisation.

You will play a key role in the development and deployment of telecommunications infrastructure, DAS solutions, Small Cells, customer network solutions and new sites.

At the same time, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered with a strong focus on quality, financial performance, safety and customer satisfaction.

You will also contribute technical expertise during major incidents and when resolving complex technical issues. Your ability to establish strong collaboration between Deployment, Engineering, Operations and Service Assurance will therefore be essential to your success in the role.

01Key responsibilities

  • Hold overall responsibility for Deployment and Customer Network Engineering in Denmark and Sweden.
  • Ensure the delivery of technical solutions within DAS, Small Cells and other telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Take responsibility for projects from design and planning through to implementation, handover and subsequent optimisation.
  • Support sales teams with technical and commercial proposals, cost calculations, business cases and solution designs.
  • Evaluate technical solutions in connection with complex customer requirements.
  • Maintain close dialogue with customers’ technical departments and contribute to high customer satisfaction and continued business development.
  • Manage the construction and modification of sites, ensuring that projects are delivered within agreed timescales and service levels.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with company standards as well as customer, operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Select and manage external suppliers, contractors and specialist subcontractors, including monitoring quality, financial performance, safety and delivery.
  • Work closely with the Cluster Head of Service Assurance to ensure the effective handover of newly deployed infrastructure and follow up on network performance, capacity requirements and operational challenges.

02Qualifications

  • You have substantial experience leading complex telecommunications infrastructure deployment programmes, with direct accountability for budgets, supplier performance and multidisciplinary teams.
  • You have led projects involving deployment, network upgrades, site modifications and the establishment of new sites.
  • You have a good understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, mobile networks, DAS solutions and Small Cells.
  • You have demonstrable experience managing suppliers and contractors against contractual requirements, technical specifications, delivery milestones, quality and safety standards.
  • You are accustomed to holding budget responsibility and working with financial monitoring and planning.
  • You have previously led multidisciplinary teams across countries or specialist functions.
  • You are able to establish close and constructive working relationships with customers, finance functions and sales organisations.
  • Education: You hold a relevant higher education qualification in telecommunications, engineering, project management or a related field.
  • Languages: You have a professional command of English, both written and spoken, including the ability to negotiate effectively.

03Personal qualities

You use sound judgement to balance quality, safety, cost and customer requirements. You communicate clearly, set direction and make timely, well-informed decisions. You build constructive working relationships across teams, customers and delivery partners, and prioritise effectively to maintain progress across concurrent projects in a changing environment.
