At Atlantic, we back founders in AI, compute, spacetech, and deep tech, often when it's still just a few people and a big idea. What happens next depends less on the idea and more on who joins them: the first engineer who can actually build it, the CTO who scales it, the commercial lead who gets it into the world.

That's why talent sits at the heart of our Venture Development work. We go out and find those people ourselves, and we help our companies build the organizations around them: how teams are structured, how people are paid, and how they grow.

02Why we are looking for you now

The breakthroughs we're most excited about will come from people who aren't on anyone's radar yet. We want to find them first and put them where they can have the biggest impact. Talent is scarcer than money in today's VC climate. Promising startup ideas are often replicable. People are not. Together with you, we will:

• Find and win top talent for our portfolio companies, with a focus on senior and leadership hires

• Run searches end to end, from mapping the market to closing the candidate

• Advise our companies on comp, equity, org design, and hiring, and turn what works into playbooks

• Translate business plans into hiring plans, and step in on urgent people topics when needed

• Use AI and automation to make all of this faster and better

03Your role

Headhunting is the core of the job. You'll spend your days finding people others miss and convincing them that this is the company worth joining. But you won't just fill roles. You'll sit with our investment team and portfolio CEOs to work out what team a company actually needs, what to pay, and how to structure it, then go and build it. You own your projects and make your own calls. This isn't a standard recruiting gig.

05What you must have done before

• Placed the top %: You've found and closed exceptional people, the ones everyone wanted, in fast-growing startups or scale-ups.

• Set the bar high: Your standards for excellence are very, very high, for the people you hire and for your own work.

• Ready to do more than search: You want to shape how companies are built, not just fill roles, and you're interested in org design, comp, and equity.

• Worked with numbers and concepts: You're not afraid of numbers, whether comp models or hiring budgets, and you have strong conceptual skills.

• Jumped into the unknown: You're keen to dig into anything new, from employment law to a technology you've never heard of.

• Run at a founder's pace: You move fast, take ownership, and make your own calls, the way a founder would.

• Worked internationally: Fluent English is a must. International work experience and other languages are a big plus.
