01Principal / Senior Principal

You want to boost your career and collaborate with expert, talented colleagues to solve and deliver against our clients' most important challenges? We are growing and are looking for people to join our team. You'll be part of an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment of 300.000 employees. Our dynamic organization allows you to work across functional business pillars, contributing your ideas, experiences, diverse thinking, and a strong mindset. Are you ready?

02About your role

We are looking for a hands-on Oracle SIOCS solution architect to join the Design Pod of a global luxury retail POS transformation. A standard Oracle Xstore and SIOCS template is being rolled out to boutiques in around 36 countries (2027 to 2030), delivered through a Design Pod, a Base Template Pod and regional EU and APAC PODs, under a standard-first (90/10) principle.

You will own the end-to-end design of Oracle Retail Store Inventory Operations Cloud Service (SIOCS) and its integration with Xstore and the wider landscape, so boutique inventory processes are accurate, standard and scalable across markets and across Fashion and F&B concepts.

You are a trusted advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders, able to say no to unnecessary customisation with a clear rationale, and you document decisions so knowledge is retained. You will be measured on inventory accuracy at go-live, template conformance and on-time design of 3 to 4 work packages a year.

Responsibilities

  • Fit-gap and Adopt-vs-Adapt for store inventory: receiving, transfers, adjustments, counts, returns, reservations, in-store fulfilment
  • Solution designs and FSDs for SIOCS configuration, workflows, reporting and user roles
  • Integration designs for SIOCS with Xstore, ERP and merchandising, order management, e-commerce, warehouse and logistics
  • Inventory data designs: master data, item and location setup, conversions and reconciliation approaches
  • Country and market localisation, including tax, traceability and regulatory requirements affecting inventory
  • Design hand-over packs to delivery PODs that meet Definition of Ready and design-gate criteria
  • Contribution to the Base Template roadmap and cloud release readiness, including impact of Oracle quarterly updates
  • Design reviews, quality gates and root-cause input on design and data defects; coaching of POD engineers

03Requirements

  • Have a broad business skill set including stakeholder management with senior business and IT leaders, problem-solving, and resilience
  • Are able to say no to overcommitment and unnecessary customisation with a clear rationale
  • Have experience building and growing the right-skilled team: one team across PODs, vendors and locations
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C2 proficiency); French is a strong advantage; willingness to travel regularly to boutiques, regional PODs and client sites. Location: France (preferred, Paris)
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle SIOCS (and its SIM heritage): configuration, workflows, APIs, and how SIOCS and Xstore share stock and transactions
  • Experience working with Oracle Retail Cloud architecture, integration patterns and update management; inventory concepts, shrinkage and cycle counting
  • 15+ years in retail technology and 7+ years designing Oracle Retail inventory solutions incl. SIOCS or SIM (Senior Principal: 18+ years, several global rollouts as lead architect)
  • Have previously led multi-country store systems rollout covering POS and store inventory together
  • Strong luxury, fashion or premium retail background: high-value, low-volume and serialised stock, boutique-to-boutique fulfilment
  • Experience with Oracle product teams on SRs and escalations, and across multiple vendors; Oracle Retail certification is a plus

Given that this is just a short snapshot of the role we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the requirements listed above. We are looking for team members who strive to make an impact and are eager to learn. If this sounds like you and you feel you have the skills and experience required, then please apply now.
