About the role

Build relationships. Promote positive behaviour. Raise academic standards.

Are you a confident, proactive and relationship-oriented person who wants to make a real difference in students’ everyday lives?

We believe that good behaviour, clear expectations and a respectful school environment are essential foundations for high academic standards and student success. A school where students feel safe, understand boundaries and show respect for others is a school where learning can thrive.

We are looking for a dedicated Social Pedagogue to help us create exactly that environment.

01Your role

You will be a visible and active presence throughout the entire school day, wherever students are.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting and reinforcing school rules, expectations and positive behaviour.
  • Supporting a safe, calm and focused learning environment.
  • Being present not only in classrooms, but also in corridors, hallways, the cafeteria, playground and during breaks.
  • Building strong relationships with students and providing individual and group support.
  • Identifying challenges early, preventing conflicts and addressing inappropriate behaviour.
  • Encouraging responsibility, respect, self-discipline and positive social interactions.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, student support services and school leadership.
  • Conducting observations, following up on incidents and maintaining accurate documentation.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is confident, approachable and consistent in setting boundaries.
  • Understands the connection between positive behaviour, student wellbeing and academic achievement.
  • Combines strong relationships with clear expectations and structure.
  • Takes initiative and is comfortable handling challenging situations.
  • Is observant, proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Has experience working with children and young people, preferably in a school setting.
  • Has relevant training as a Social Pedagogue or equivalent experience.

Make an impact every day!

We believe that good behaviour is not separate from learning, it is a prerequisite for it.

We need an adult who understands that creating a successful school environment takes more than classroom support. It requires active presence, consistency and engagement in every part of school life.

If you believe that strong relationships, clear boundaries and positive behaviour create the conditions for academic excellence, we would love to hear from you!
